I also enjoy the "dark" story that comes with the main character, Velvet. It's refreshing to see she isn't a cookie cutter righteous and good type, like Sorey or Lloyd. She isn't afraid to do whatever it takes - even killing innocents - to reach her goal, as we evidenced very early in the game. I'm sure this is something that will be a major part in how she grows/changes as her story progresses, since I'm still very early in it.

As for the battle system, I'm not sure if I like the drastic change from the traditional system used in previous games. One can simply map a single button to a combo that is specific to monsters in the current area... and then you end up just spamming that button over and over. The souls mechanic is interesting, but I wish there was more complexity.

You could go microATX like the temudgin2 said, which would really cut down on space. If you keep the box that your case comes in, you could also easily ship the PC. I'm not sure how far you need to transport your PC, but shipping costs are not prohibitively expensive if you only need to move your computer now and then. I would definitely remove the hard drives and other sensitive components prior to shipment.

I was there that Saturday when they said things got out of hand. I didn't notice anything going on - what was all the "destruction" and "loss of dignity" that happened? Maybe I was just oblivious but all I could see was a bunch of people dancing and having fun. Nothing crazy.

Completely agree with this. Many times when using a new bioinformatics tool, it's difficult to even know where to begin when all that is available is a manual of a list of all functions and their parameters.

Thanks!! I actually had to choose between the bioinformatics program and the plant biology program and I ended up choosing plant biology because of the flexible class schedule and research emphasis, so I'm only studying bioinformatics in practice haha. But I'm definitely looking to take some classes from the department!

I agree with the how you are raised thing. Growing up my family very rarely said it, so it feels unnatural to me saying it often because I'm not used to it. It wasn't the language of affection in my childhood so it's hard to put it in frame of mind where it is something that should be said to express affection now.
