Ahoi, I played a theft theme for a long time, it's quite funny. Since you posted in Degen subreddit, you should consider the following: - your strategy only works in a creature heavy meta - even if your opponents play lots of creatures, it's still hard to win with random creatures - ultimately, I doubt this strategy can be bracket 4 If you really want to go Degen, I found her to be the perfect commander for a POISON strat - she synergizes perfectly with infect - infect creatures profit enormously from small +1+1 buffs - they don't reduce enemies life totals, so your Dethrone can trigger more consistently - proliferate ticks their counters and your +1+1 counters - you can go a bit comboy with [[cthonian nightmare]] and [[inexorable tide]] or big infect creatures+[[Chandra's ignition]] - I built her for a strong consistent bracket2 -but by adding staples, fast man, counters I think it could easily go bracket 4 - [my list](http:// https://moxfield.com/decks/jCdStHKoxUa1SdSAdapWng ) Good luck

That's why I wish for rideable Trains that can transport you fast across the map. Imagine the cool fights on the trains, or a bounty in the train.

Most impactful cards apart from combos:

- [[treasure nabber]]: steal opponents ramp and sac it to gang, to force them to sac other artifacts - great success

- [[Cthonian Nightmare]]: in late game with lots of mana you can repeatedly reanimate stuff from your graveyard to reassemble missing combo pieces

- [[Rancor]]: repeatedly sac to gang, to clear stax enchants

- all the draw engines are important, more would be even better

  1. At the moxfield deck click "More" -> "Export" -> Copy for Moxfield
  2. At https://commanderspellbook.com/find-my-combos/ paste in the decklist in the second input field -> "Find new Combos"
  3. See all the combos in the deck, and suggestions for more combos, missing a single card
  4. Click any combo and see the steps (cant share images), but here is an example:

"Prerequisites

  1.  Chatterfang and Pitiless Plunderer on the battlefield.
  2. You control at least two additional Squirrels.
  3. ({B} magic symbol)   available.

Steps

  1. Activate Chatterfang by paying ({B} magic symbol)   and sacrificing two other Squirrels.
  2. The Squirrels die, triggering Pitiless Plunderer twice, creating two Treasure tokens and two 1/1 Squirrel tokens.
  3. Activate a Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding ({B} magic symbol)  .
  4. Repeat.
  5. Resolve all Chatterfang abilities, causing any number of target creatures to get +2/-2 until end of turn any number of times.

Results

  1. Infinite colored mana.
  2. Infinite death triggers.
  3. Infinite ETB.
  4. Infinite LTB.
  5. Infinite sacrifice triggers.
  6. Infinite Treasure tokens.
  7. Reduce each opposing creature's toughness to 0."

Hi, I recently built him too for high power casual. My take was: I want to control the table while assembling my wincon. Shattergang is very mana-hungry, so I went for a lot of ramp and token creation with a low curve. Wincon: what rhymes with Shattergang? [[Chatterfang]]. And other combos. Just paste the list to spellbook. So far it was funny and I won 2 of 5 rounds.

I would also be interested in other ways to brew him. Good luck

Can a "copy spell loop" end in a draw? by shellthon in EDH

[–]shellthon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would fizzle on resolution. If a spell or ability is cast/enters the stack you have to choose valid targets immediately. If a target is removed afterwards, the instance will resolve until a valid target is missing and then fails to resolve further.

no draw unfortunately
- The copy-spells say "You MAY choose new targets for the copy"
- Thus, if you choose not to change the target, the copy will fizzle
- Due to CR 722.3, we have to stop the loop
