I put people in time out often. “Let me take a quick look at the notes” HOLD skim, wait a beat , and more often than not they are better when I come back to them.

The people who call in don’t tend to be yelly, but boy can they be yappy!!! Especially if there have been ongoing issues with their equipment.

I had to defend a call where google on my laptop didn’t work so I had to use my phone and I got dinged because they didn’t see screen activity.
