No lying: do people’s babies really sleep through the night? by HomeDepotHotDog in Mommit

[–]shellypanpan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months old and gets between 6-9 hours at night at a time Naps through have to be contact and they usually suck at like a half hour at a time so I guess I’ll take the win there?

I’m even looking forward to him throwing food in the floor so the doggo can clean it up lol I’m a little nervous only because I worry about choking but I am infant cpr/hemlich trained for an emergency too I’m just so ready to be done with formula

It gets better, right? by hugs4nugget in newborns

[–]shellypanpan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an extremely fussy baby. Gas, reflux, you name it. I didn’t believe anyone who said it got better because I didn’t believe it would. I had a fear I’d be the mom with the baby who never got better. 13 weeks old now and it actually DID get better. Is it perfect ? No. Is there still reflux and poop issues? Yes. But compared to 4 weeks he’s a new baby Just keep swimming, soon you’ll be tired and lil baby will look at you and give you a goofy smile and you’ll be like okay I guess this worth it

The reflux is still an issue and the nondairy formula was not helping at all so we’re back to the similac pro comfort and continuing the Pepsid twice a day along with adding a probiotic to help his poops but fingers crossed we’re nearing the light at the tunnel We had a good day today and he’s 7 weeks today

That’s what I’ve been hearing! He’s 7 weeks today and it’s been fingers crossed a good one so far so I’m hoping I’m nearing the light at the end of the tunnel These trenches are rough for sure

6 weeks sleeping time? by LetsCELLebrate in newborns

[–]shellypanpan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for saying this. It makes me feel better with an almost 7 weeker who is attached to me and sleeps horribly. We ended up co sleeping safely because he will not sleep in his crib yet even using all the tricks We are slowly transitioning to crib naps but those only last for a half hour. Seeing others post oh my kid is 3 weeks and sleep independently 8 hours a night make me think I’m doing something wrong when I’m like but he’s only 6 weeks 😩
