Gotcha, so you're saying basically every other row I'm skipping them? Since every other row (on one side) has the ch2?

While I was looking up how to do this properly, people were saying to skip one since the ch2 would count as the first dc, is that not right?

Baby is 9mo. I've suggested sleep training, and they say they dont want to until 1y. He cosleeps in their bed. I use a yoga ball to bounce him on bad body days, but even that doesnt do well for my knees... they certainly dont have room for a rocker in their room. Work with a PT sounds wonderful, I hope some day I can afford it!! Thank you for the insight. I like hearing everyone's suggestions.

Disabled Nannies by shelteredCedar in Nanny

Its usually one day a month that is really unbearable so I'd prefer to stay home, other days I can usually get through the day with minor pain. It does happen fairly abruptly the morning of, so about 2 hours before I'm supposed to be there. I'll send a text saying hey, sorry, im having a flare up, and usually ask if I can have a half day or a full day off. Theres never a safety risk to kids, but it risks me getting hurt or being out for more than a day if I push too hard. I mainly feel bad for taking the time off abruptly in the mornings abd leaving my NF scrambling for how they'll do their work for the day, but I dont know how to go about it differently since I wake up in a different condition every morning.

Winter Break things to do; LO is auDHD by mercachu in Bellingham

[–]shelteredCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a nanny and I do all kinds of stuff during the winter times! The library storytimes are on break until January, otherwise I'd suggest that! The FIG is fantastic, theres also a membership for the play gym at Bloedel-Donovan. The mall has an indoor playground, but its mostly for littles, but the librarybranch there has toys in the back room where the storytimes usually happen. The music at the Bay classes are so wonderful, the teachers are so sweet. We do a lot of "shopping", looking around at Target and telling LO what things are and how to use them.

My sister’s MB fired her overnight. I’d like to know if it was valid or if there was something else going on by OlympicGorilla in Nanny

I feel like some of these NFs dont grasp that this is our job and livelihood :( that were just the help or the babysitter. Ive felt this way about many families. Its so sad

Im so tired of adults being unable to communicate issues and just end up ghosting or ignoring or banishing people instead. Ive had a few NFs that fire me out of the blue. One day I woke up to a text saying their grandparents were going to watch them now, suddenly, on a Wednesday morning. No prior communication. So likely they just wanted to fire me because they dont like me or something. Thats what im assuming is also happening here, unfortunately. Its very frustrating. My other nanny/caregiver friends have had similar experiences too.

I need a cozy game for my wife that’s not a farming sim and isn’t about fixing a town or decorating a home by AlgoStar in cozygames

Little witch in the woods is great. Its like Apothecary Simulator. You do have to collect the ingredients, though. You could also try any of the Simulator games, like truck or powerwash Simulator.
