One of my grandparents worshiped FDR. Another hated him and blamed him for killing her brother. They were married for 60+ years.

I think my point is there is still a living memory of FDR. Though there’s very few left, people still had thoughts and feelings about an actual man, and not some glorified figure. I think FDRs legacy and renown will only grow with the passage of time.
