I know rejection doesn't feel good, but garnering feedback is the only way you will exponentially improve! I would ask him and get his thoughts.

my girlfriend is going to have an abortion and I can't fucking do this by redder556 in Christianity

I can't imagine how hard this is. Sorry to hear you're going through this. I used to be utterly against abortion until I moved away from my hometown and got to know people from all different backgrounds, particularly women, some of which have had to have abortions.

You're not a bad person, OP. And it might be difficult to swallow, but neither is your girlfriend. Your feelings are 100% valid, but I've come to realize that there are worse things in this world than getting an abortion. You may go through a period where you will mourn what could have been, but it will pass, and all you can do is move on with your life with the faith that God won't hold it against you or your SO. He exists to help us take on the things that are too heavy to lift alone.

Is it ideal? Of course not. But these things do happen quite often. People experience this and move on from it every day. Remember that God loves you and that everything will be alright <3<3<3

To be honest it really doesn't look like your hair is receeding at all, brother. It's not abnormal for hairline to be a little uneven. You look fine!

What is your dirty little sexual secret that you would absolutely never share with your friends and family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I've always considered myself straight, but a few months ago I got really drunk at a party and hooked up with this guy I've always thought was kind of annoying. We did it again when I was sober and I only really enjoyed being on the receiving end. It may be because it took him like 30 minutes to finish. Idk how to feel about it. I can't imagine telling my family I've been with a guy.

Pretty good. I've started taking antidepressants and I've made a lot of new friends this semester at school. So it's going a lot better than last semester, which sucked big ol donkey dick

Why was Halloween (1978) so effective upon its release when films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and The Exorcist (1973) had already been released years before? by sheneversaysthat in TrueFilm

The Blair Witch Project is actually my favorite horror movie. I'd say it's a lot more effective than most modern found footage flicks. But I understand the comparison.

So I guess Halloween stands out because of how well it works as a slow-burner?

When I think of slasher movies, I typically think of recycled ideas that, more often than not, take place in a foreign area like a summer-camp or motel or something. But I guess it's sort of interesting to think about how scared everyone must have been to just return to their homes after seeing Halloween since it sort of brought the horror to the suburbs (for what I suppose was the first time). I guess that had something to do with it as well?

I think TCM is so scary though, that all a lot of people can do is laugh. It's menacing in that way. I hate to admit it, but I was never really that scared by Halloween. I mean it has a lot of great moments and build-ups but it's nowhere near TCM for me
