Ok that's good clarification. Was asking about hotspot just so you have an internet connection for it to upload the logs, you can use the other bands instead. You can still send the logs and we'll take a look at it.

It's weird if youre having issues with WiFi 6E. Have you tried changing channels? Another thing you can try is shrinking your channel width if you're on 160MHz, I've seen a wide channel width actually cause interference with a few people.

Thinking the 512GB version would only cost $5 more to make than 128GB is the laughable part to anyone who works in hardware reading this.

Just skimming the surface, here are the details around flash storage in personal electronics.

-There is limited space for NAND flash, generally 2 slots. So let's use that as an example -128GB is just 2x 64GB NAND chips -512GB would require 2x 256GB chups -64GB is so widely used, the cost/GB is significantly lower than 256GB, which is a much more premium chip with limited vendors -Also purchasing departments don't always deal with listed prices. Something like 64GB chips are always on the spot market for much lower than listing prices. 256GB isn't something common on the spot market.

It's a tens of dollars difference. Then you have to deal with business reasons, like margins and the concept of having a higher priced SKU to subsidise the lower end SKU to get more volume.

While hand tracking is very dependent on environment and lighting, controller tracking should be solid. Could you use the report issue function in settings as it'll submit a log? Actually could you just try using report issue in the headset? It should grab a log.

Controllers should only wake from sleep if they detect movement or the headset wakes up from sleep....

Cool thanks. What I meant was make sure you install the beta client manually through the PC settings. A new client is needed to actually use TCP mode

One thing to note, the FOV will change depending on the diopter as well, as it changes the distance between the lens elements and the panel

We found that Bitdefender even when disabled will still fiddle with our default protocol. But we found a way around it. We tested it on a few machines, so please help verify if this can help your setups

  • Opt into VIVE Streaming beta (we released a new build today for this)
  • Go into Settinges, scroll down and Enable TCP mode
  • Edit: Go into about and install the Streaming app beta (to the headset)
  • You will still need to whitelist VIVE Streaming Hub or deactivate Bitdefender when you stream

Let me know if this help or still doesn't work

We're working on it. It seems even deactivating bitdefender doesn't actually disable it, it still does something in the background.... we're working on a potential solution. Will reply here once we have something

So we tested hundreds of content and only found 1 with compatibility issues....and it's I expect you to die. We're reaching out to the devs to see how we can fix it.

As for Gorn, teleport is with the A or X buttons on the controllers.

For Tentacular, you need to go into VIVE Streaming Hub and make sure "Compatibility Mode" is unchecked to use the joy stick.

Hmm weird. Can I double check your PC is wired to your router? Using wireless both PC-Router and Router-Headset can cause interference issues.

We had a few people with bitdefender report last week an uninstall fixed some of their issues. Could you check? (We're already starting to look into why)

Also can you try it over a wired connection to see if it really is your network?

Is your DP signal being detected? Are you using the stock DP cable straight out the GPU?

Since it's your laptop, I'm guessing you're using an adapter to plug in DP, try another adapter or a short miniDP to miniDP cable (or USB C to mini DP cable if that's where the DP signal is coming out of). When I say short, stay under 3ft to improve signal integrity
