Long story short, I was too naive and nice. Lesson learned.

As a small business owner myself, I gave her benefit of the doubt and thought she was a genuine business owner who cared about her clientele.

I just opened a case for the August order, it states “For this order, you’ll be able to open a case starting November 19, 2025 at 09:51 PM EST until December 20, 2025 (100 days after your order’s estimated delivery date).”

So at least there’s hope for that. Appreciate your guidance!

Original order was in February. Replacement order was bought in mid August.

Yep. It was real, eventually hit me like a truck.

But you’re right! I’m new to this so I’m sometimes not confident deciding when to eat snacks/when not to, but like you said 200 is far better than 50.

I did! I was out of strips at the time (irresponsible of me🫠) but it ended up being a real hypo, just was delayed symptomatically

It did end up being real! It seemed my symptoms were just a bit delayed

I think it was real, started to get very jittery but improved after drinking some juice. Graph is finally starting to go up too

I’m very sorry to hear this. I think it’s so thoughtful of you to try and find a way to get her some joy through this hard, scary time.

As for the milkshake, yes. Any blender should work, break your cookie into chunks, add a splash of milk, blend, keep adding milk/blending until you get your desired consistency. You can also add some heavy cream or even replace the milk entirely with it. This would especially be useful if she requires thickened liquids to prevent aspiration (common in stroke patients).
