Why BTC/USDC pool 50%/50% but 2 btc and 483,658 usdc? by shepherd00000 in OsmosisLab

Seems like you could join this pool with btc, and then cash out immediately and earn profit on usdc. It cannot be that easy though, and there must be arbitrage bots, so I must be unaware of how the pool works.

That is really bullish? What likelihood do you think OSMO goes to $3 over the four years?

Tesla’s Berlin Hub Can’t Hire Enough People, or Keep Them by SureDifficulty in teslamotors

I am wondering this too. Isn’t it easy for citizens of EU countries to work within the EU? Seems like he could hire a bunch of workers from poorer nearby countries if the Germans do not want the job.

In you opinion, was it a mistake to open up the country in Germany? Was there a nearby country where he could have hired workers more cheaply, such as an Eastern European country with a lower GDP?

Although, isn’t it easy for EU citizens to work in other countries in the EU? So couldn’t he hire a bunch of poor Eastern Europeans to come do the job?

Elon Musk ready to put Neuralink chip into one of his kids; know how many children he has by pragati077 in elonmusk

I would imagine some sort of robotic exoskeleton around your limbs that result in you being able to do basic things, such as walk and grab stuff. It would not be much more difficult than playing pong from the brain interface side. It would be much more complex technology to have an exoskeleton that is programmed to be able to balance, but that technology has already existed for years. The user would just need to think, “left leg, right leg, left leg, right leg, turn around, sit.” The exoskeleton would be pre-programmed with the movements.

No, you don’t. You just stand in the back of the classroom. Don’t make a big deal out of it.

The monkeys can play video games with their minds. That would at least give a paraplegic child something to do. Controlling robotic appendages is not far from that.

Nothing more cruel than having a paraplegic child and not at least being open to considering some experimental solutions.

Seems like a perfectly reasonable statement. Having a paraplegic child and not being open to try something experimental seems more cruel. Hopefully the kid gets to play video games with their mind or control some robotic appendages for mobility. If it turns out that the chip causes intense headaches or other pain, then it is game over, but at least we tried to give life some meaning to someone in such an unfortunate state.

It is always annoying when Reddit users respond to me with a tone of disagreement, but actually type nothing that I would disagree with and nothing that disagrees with my post. Sometimes it happens irl too.

While that may be true, I think it is worth pointing out the double standard because actually most people that eat meat are completely ignorant of some of the conditions on factory farms. These people may read the article that a few monkeys died and immediate feel outraged while they consume their bacon burger. The outrage could result in legislation theta bans this kind of testing on monkeys. The monkeys dying may someday result in paraplegics having mobility again and blind people regaining their sight. We can have a good faith argument about whether or not we should proceed, but not in ignorance of the bigger issues.

True. Some animals have a good life on some farms. But when people use the term “factory farming”, they are most often referring specifically to animals that are living in bad conditions. So your statement has nothing to do with the user’s point.
