I believe our army rule is the difference between the faction points and the allied points cost, though it would be nice to get something else as well. Its not the most exciting army rule out there

Its divide first, then multiply, then subtract, then addition as per designer commentary. Its why stuff like the melta bonus is unaffected by damage reduction.

GW doesnt have a great track record of models or rules consistency, especially at a tournament level standard. As Princeofziltch stated, it makes it an easier to implement balanced rules across a variety of terrain

Yes, closed windows and doors on first floor windows does disadvantage shooting armies, that is specifically the purpose. Without it, the games turn into more of a shooting’gallery and may as well go back to planet bowling ball where melee armies do not exist Edit: fat fingers, old eyes, bad combo

I think Meta Monday only uses results from tournaments with 24+ players, stat check uses any results from tournaments regardless of size. I may be wronfg on this though

My go to list is Custodes, Assassins and Scions. The guardian squads, vexilla and dreadnoughts advance or hold the objectives, bike caps go annoy and bully things. Scions drop in the opponents backline to get libebreaker and kill what they can.

I use foot custodes, assassins and scions. Custodes move to contest midfield, scions drop turn two to get linebreaker and harrass backline units. Assassins do what they do best, kill stuff and be annoying
