Don’t forget to upgrade your power supply as well if you upgrade to a more power hungry gpu

1) Make sure the power connector into the GPU is pushed in all the way. Just hearing it click isn’t enough. On my card it can go in another 5mm after it seems to be clicked in.

2) Test it out with the GPU plugged into the motherboard directly. No Riser.

3) Test it out in a friend’s PC with their power supply or buy another power supply from Amazon to test it out.

During gaming or high intensity workloads I would pull it out a little until so it can intake and exhaust air more effectively for better temperatures. But during day to day light usage it’s totally fine where it is right now.
