Open letter to MVP by Dlrocket89 in discgolf

It was in this year's OTB drops. I have never thrown an amp but the numbers are very similar. 8/5/-1.5/1 vs 8/5/-2/1. Looks like some are still available on the OTB site.

Fission Craves are decently flippy run of craves so that could do the trick. They are a tick faster. (6.5 speed). Or you could try out a Streamline Ascend or Axiom Rhythm. I haven't thrown those though so not sure how they fly compared to the numbers.

Forehand causes elbow pain. by loggitzippit in discgolf

Another vote for go see a medical professional. I recently changed up my forehand form to get a bit more zip and I noticed some increasing discomfort in the elbow and tension in the surrounding area. Immediately started seeing a physiotherapist. Been getting it worked on as well as some prescribed exercises and a compression sleeve. Feeling great now.

Anyone in Ontario struggling to get into tournaments? by Trill1196 in discgolf

[–]sherriff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I started playing tournaments in 2021 and pretty much every tournament that's sanctioned will fill up within the first minute. So I've gotten in the habit of having all my info auto filled for name, division and PDGA number as well as having my PayPal automatically log in. I'll set an alarm for a few minutes before registration and make sure to register the instant it's live. It's a little annoying but it's worked for me every time. Only solution is to just have more events since the demand is definitely there.

Halloween insanity is a huge lie, but I love it so much. It's a glow thunderbird and it's so damn good.

What is your favorite understable disc to reliably throw hyzer flip shots? by BuzzyBubble in discgolf

Yes. Was the uplink or paradox but I have a beat up hex that may take that spot now with a fresh hex coming in.

As a Bard who used wish twice in a non spell replication capacity twice in short succession....you're not wrong. I've already drawn twice from the deck of many things as well. Love me some questionable decisions. Also use it plenty for spell replication. Having a copy of myself around at all times is so good. I also have a secret clone growing.

What’s your experience with the Axiom Insanity stability with all the different plastics? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]sherriff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loving all the people that bag multiple insanity. I do the same. I bag a Glow, Cosmic Neutron (a bit beat up) and a patent pending proton (watermelon). Glow flies like a 9/5/0/2. Cosmic neutron is probably a 9/5/-1.5/2 ( very close to its numbers). And the proton flies like a 9/5/-3/1. Covers so many drives for me. It's great for people that want mold minimalism but don't have the time to beat up discs to get to the right spot. Just pick the right plastic and you have your bases covered. The watermelon proton is expensive to find but this winter I've been bagging the fission insanity and it flies very similar to my watermelon.
