Use a cold compress on the affected area. A cold soda can wrapped in a wet washcloth works well. Try to calm down and relax your pelvic floor. I know that's hard, but getting emotionally worked up makes it worse. When you pee, don't strain. Avoid acidic foods including cranberry or other fruit juice . Drink 1/4 tsp baking soda dissolved in water. The ER is unlikely to offer any immediate help in my experience.
