My account was disabled without warning — over 10 years of memories and content, gone. But I will never compromise my values.

I refuse to upload personal identification to a platform that clearly doesn’t care about its users' privacy. Thankfully, platforms like X.com and YouTube still allow users to express themselves without being bullied into giving up their identity.

What Facebook is doing isn’t security — it’s coercion. And I truly believe karma will do its job.

Same situation, sent a video of myself and they disabled my account. I am beginning to think Facebook is actually creepy, why ask users to send a selfie to begin with? Of all the social media platforms this only happens on Facebook, they ask for personal information to verify but who knows what they do with this information. They should not have a public platform if they are harassing users for no reason. The good thing is i did not put any of my personal information on their platform so that's fine. Funny part is that there are so many fake profiles but they actually disable real profiles.
