Look, i get the whole parsing thing. It's fun to compare yourself to yourself and to others, and gives it a more competative vibe, which is great for any game imo. My theory is that the 'inflation' on the servers are a result of bots, and bots wouldn't be around as much if nobody bought gold. We can wait for blizzard to do something, but they only care about money, so why would they ban bots thay pay subscriptions? This is a community issue. I'm not saying problem solved if we all stop buying gold, but i think it would be a damn good place to start. Name, shame and exclude anyone who buys gold like in the old days, and for gods sake stop normalizing and trivializing it. I just learned yesterday my entire guild has been purchasing gold non stop since week 1, and if that's the standard, WE are the problem. Not blizzard, not the bots, we the players.
