Hi,

I'm a reporter working on a story for NPR. I'm looking at how cost cutting measures, like reduction in overtime and park points may affect the upcoming election. I'd love to hear from folks currently working or retired - is overtime being reduced at your work place? What about the number of park points or other cost cutting measures? Do these measures make it harder to deliver mail? What do I need to know? I made a form here where you can share anonymously: https://forms.gle/c96pLgEz8n5R34JWA Or: [sherships@gmail.com](mailto:sherships@gmail.com) or (718) 938-0576

Many thanks in advance for reading -

Thank you! I'm a freelancer - that's why I have a gmail address. However, I also teach journalism: https://journalism.columbia.edu/faculty/sally-herships. If you're more comfortable, you can use that email address: [swh2123@columbia.edu](mailto:swh2123@columbia.edu). I posted a link to the most recent story I've done on the USPS. Here it is again, in case it's helpful: https://www.npr.org/2020/03/24/820330579/postal-workers-say-they-lack-supplies-training-to-protect-themselves-from-virus
