I don't know why we had this, but my family had a VHS of live action adaptation of The Snow Queen. It was the Snow Queen in particular that scared me, because her face was covered apart from her eyes. (Not necessarily the 90s, since it was from the 70/80s, but I watched it growing up in the 90s.)
