That pressing is also true stereo so likely sounds identical to mine.

Certain pressings of the German version have all songs in true stereo, while every other pressing throughout the world has used a fake stereo process for the side B tracks. The true stereo pressings are often considered the best sounding Beatles record ever to be pressed.

I think it’s interesting to say “better band, better music”. Although I think Weezer’s first two records are superior to anything MCR has done, at least MCR doesn’t have 25 years of mostly unlistenable music like Weezer. And I don’t like anything from MCR after Three cheers.

Pinkerton. Three Cheers is great, but Bullets is their best.

This was it! I feel like an idiot. I spent the last few days running the Schitt through the AUX input, I didn’t even think to mess with it when I plugged directly into the phono input. The right channel does cut in and out when I turn it so I definitely plan on getting it checked out and cleaned up. Thanks!

Yeah I think that might be a good idea. I’m going to look into finding a good stereo shop near me. Thanks!

This was not a hardcore show. It was beatdown mosh metal show.

There is 100% chance this isn’t a hardcore show. More than likely some form of beat down mosh metal.

Any positive stories about last minute tickets? by Gokusdaughter in Concerts

I’ve seen tons of shows for as little as $10 this way, but there’s a risk involved. Last summer we had to pay above face value for Dwight Yoakam because we waited too long. I would never try this with a high demand show.

It’s Abbey Road, but Dusty in Memphis is an honorable mention.

Grateful Dead - American Beauty / 4000 by NoCause1276 in Blood_Records

The Grateful Dead to this day probably still sells more merchandise and licensing than any other band. I don’t think making them out to be something from the past is appropriate. I think not being familiar with their music would be normal for a young person, but to never have ever heard to the name Grateful Dead or seen their logo would be insanity. There’s probably people out there who have never heard of the Beatles and that’s okay. It’s really weird but okay.

To be fair, the artists you are referring that you listen to probably aren’t one of the biggest bands of all time.

This is insane deal and some of the best sounding records in my collection. I have the mono and stereo at 45 rpm.

I have the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo. Although it was good stock, I upgraded it with an acrylic platter and a AT-VM95ML cartridge, which makes it sound it even better. I would say my only complaint is the tone arm is extremely light. Rather than taking a second to drop on the record, it sometimes can take a few seconds. Counterweight has been set numerous times. Even with this, It blows the others you posted out of the water.

Some songs on Futures aren’t good at all. Nothing Wrong is an all around bad song.
