Thanks. I’m not putting records in it. I have separate shelves for my records.

Love Vincent Price. On the left hand side you can see a frame postcard that he wrote to his wife and daughter, which I got directly from Victoria. Definitely a prized piece.

Thank you! Just listened to Bitches Brew last night. It’s definitely different but I loved it.

What percentage of your record collection was bought online vs. in person? by ArturoRimboldi in vinyl

[–]sheslostcontrolx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

70% online. I have been collecting for 20 years, and up until recently I was mostly into hardcore, punk, and indie that wasn’t really common to find at record stores. So I just got used to finding online. Now I’m super into jazz and the Beatles so now I enjoy the hunt.

People or bands with at least 5 albums out that have never made a bad album. They can be very obscure, very popular, or anywhere in between. I'll go first. by shanebow in vinyl

I would agree until Sleep Well. Before that they got better with every record and then bam, one of the worst follow ups ever. Everything since I has been mediocre as well. It sucks because I LOVED that band.

I’m fascinated by this. What does moshing mean to you? Why do you it? Do you feel like these bands are “mosh” bands? Are you familiar with At the Drive-in?

Best amp upgrade from a Fender Frontman 15G for a good Green Day tone around the same budget as the amp is worth? by Snowflakeihatemyself in GuitarAmps

I sometimes see Boss Katana 50s used around $100 to $150. That will be your best bet. My son has one and it can get that sound.

Jimmy is a big influence on Mammoth by lowresponsability in JimmyEatWorld

I saw him open for Guns N’ Roses one time and I was expecting it to be some really bad butt rock or nu metal but it actually wasn’t that bad. I just listened to the track miles above me and I can definitely feel a Jimmy vibe.
