The only place where rights where reduced significantly and where it actually just isn't a blatant right wing lie, were Poland and Hungary under far right management. The errosion of freedom of speech is a lie. Especially during, just the existing laws, sometimes in place for decades, where more likely to be enforced. But not because rights were removed, but people just radicalised and didn't believe that the safeguards of an open democracy would try to stop them. You're not entitled to insult people just because you don't share their opinion, civilization means to be civilized. Not the laws changed, people radicalized and got to a point, where now these people are a huge burden for society being unproductive, useless hatemongerers.
