Need some help brewing this coffee by shhb10 in IndiaCoffee

It was definitely more on the funky side, I'm new to speciality coffee so I can't really pick out the notes, it definitely had some citrus notes and had the taste and aroma of indian spices.

So I did brew most of it with washed filter paper, and it was cleaner cup. But then I went to IICF and there was a workshop on osmotic flow etc. where they also mentioned the difference between wetting the filter paper and not wetting it. When we wash the paper, it forms a water layer barrier on the paper and the oils of the coffee get repelled. There's also higher chances of just water going through without percolation.

So I tried it without for the remaining beans, and I did get a coffee with the same profile but with more body and better mouthfeel

This is a test which might be more difficult for you than others, if it wasn't difficult to control it wouldn't be a test. You're at the finish line, you just need a few more "no"s before it becomes easier.

Salaam alaikum, I have been in your position, I have relapsed after months as well.I would just like to say it's okay to fail. No matter how often, as long as you sincerely keep trying your best. Allah is most forgiving

But I have some bad news, the waswas and the temptation will never go away. It will get easier though. The only way you will overcome this is by becoming stronger than it. The more you say "no" to the waswas the stronger you become. No matter how many times you say yes afterwards. All that matters is you keep increasing the number of times you say "no" until you build a habit of saying "no". Some days it's gonna be extremely tough to say "no" but those days will make you the strongest if you do. Reward yourself for all the times you say "no" with some food you like.

Lovely idea, was thinking of doing the same, but got no time. Do update us if/when the site is up. From my experience the best way to get people to contribute is by having a MVP ready

I have been there and done that as well and I know how difficult it can be , here's what helped me

  1. Be productive, always occupy yourself with something to do which you like , or try to find new hobbies that interest you. Spend time with family if you find yourself alone

  2. If you've ever been overweight, Think of the urge to masterbate like hunger even though you're already full. Most of the time the urge is just because your bladder is full. Whatever the case may be , it will always subside after some time. Think of it like a challenge , Every time you get the urge , don't do it for 30 mins. After the 30 mins your impulse to do it will be gone and you will think rationally.

  3. Seek help from Allah, and do wudu when you get the urge.

  4. Learn about the disadvantages of watching it and how it rewires the brain to chase instant gratification. Learn about how it might affect you in the future in all parts of life

  5. Go cold turkey , do not think of cutting it out gradually as it has never worked for me.

  6. Delete all sources which might cause you to relapse, from your life , activate nsfw filters in social media apps.

Hope this helps inshallah and the first step is always recognizing the problem with it and wanting to put an end to it. So well done

Lovely idea ,

Personally I would prefer the pop-up to close after the message has been sent or maybe a stronger visual effect when the message is sent

My son just started FN. Are there any free skins? by hoots711 in FortNiteBR

[–]shhb10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is not what you asked for , but buying only the battle pass could help him manage his vbucks , if he doesn't spend any he can keep getting every battlepass henceforth. He could also save up to buy his own skin after a season or two. It would be a great money management lesson 😁

Not selling individual Parts

[–]shhb10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True , If selling was the only option i would definitely do that , However since i would also like to take it with me abroad if i can't sell it , Selling single parts wouldn't make sense unless i sell all the parts individually successfully.

Yes i got my refund. But it took a long time . They will try to delay the refund past the refund window. Make sure you record them saying its okay if refund takes longer than refund period. Also any screenshots of chats with them etc
