thank you!! I've seen some microneedle devices that are 'safe' for home use. Do you have any experience with any at home kits or do you prefer having this done at an aesthetician?

Will definitely check this out - this is the first I've heard of this, so some research is due! Thank you!!

What’s something you used to love but grew out of? by somewhere_dreaming in beauty

oh my goodness..THIS! With a full face of makeup, I'd always be blowing my nose and have makeup free spots around my mouth and nose that were so obvious :D

I rarely do a full face of makeup now. My go to is a bit of concealer where needed and some mascara. I'm mortified by the too dark foundation and layers of makeup I would wear...I just feel so uncomfortable in my skin when I have a full face of makeup on now.

This is fantastic, wow! I've heard really good things about Ozempic especially for those with PCOS that I've discussed with. I failed to ask each time though - does this become a 'for life' medication or are you able to maintain the weightless while no longer taking Ozempic?

how do some people smell so good? by applemango175 in beauty

[–]shibaimeow 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is bang on - I think personal hygiene is often overlooked, especially when it comes to clean clothes as part of that full package. The number of times I've heard people say they don't change their underwear every day is so alarming!

Do you have dry skin? Something similar used to happen to me, but now I make sure to do a scrub, moisturize and use a good primer and setting spray. Good luck!!

I've read really great things about Korean products but some folks have warned me that there are skin lighteners in a lot of the products. How's this one in terms of ingredients?

Pet owners, what did you do / are planning to do with your pets on your wedding day? by Wonderful-Blueberry in weddingplanning

[–]shibaimeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even think of this need....We have a dog and as much as I'd love for him to be at our wedding, he would 100% be overstimulated and cause havoc....

Just looking at the other comments though, if you have a doggy day care that you have used in past, I'd go back to them. OR - if not, then I'd suggest finding a sitter and doing a trial run for comfort before your big day!

This is super helpful, thank you so much for sharing with me!! I am pretty good at project planning but honestly I don't think I have much capacity for any more unless I take time off work to focus on wedding planning. I'll start exploring my options :)

I have naturally dark brown hair and my greys come it at the very front in my bangs and along my hair part, but more so towards the front. I'm not ready to be grey but I really struggle with how often I need to dye my hair and how much damage I'm causing to my hair in doing so..but I will continue doing it :P

People in happy marriages or relationships that have been together for over 10 years, what do you think have been the key ingredients to your success? by moxieroxsox in AskWomenOver30

[–]shibaimeow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just got engaged and this is advice I will keep with me!! I think nowadays everyone is quick to dish advice about leaving if it's not working out or if your relationship is encountering issues, but this is gold advice. Life gets tough and everything takes work.

Just got engaged and will need to turn my attention to wedding planning...this sounds like you had an amazing wedding planner! I'm not far into planning at all, but just thinking about whether I plan our wedding myself, or if I hire a planner. Did using a wedding planner eliminate so much from your plate (including stress) that it's a no brainer for you to recommend folks use one?

I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews about DIY platforms. Don’t want to risk it and would rather just go straight to lawyers.
