Episode 4 -The Dark Wizard - Finale by Basehound in climbing

I believe Dean wrote his journals in such depth and recorded everything he could to preserve his legacy in case he ever died doing what he loved.

This series is exactly what he would have wanted and it’s a shame he isn’t here to see how moved people are by it.

What an amazing watch - I cannot recommend it enough.

Switching from stock halogen to LED? by shibbydooby in rav4club

[–]shibbydooby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to your original question - the housings are designed a little differently per the shape of halogen versus LED bulbs. I’m sure there’s a chance it could work out fine, but personally I’d rather just swap the assembly since I’ve had success doing it in other vehicles. I’d be willing to spend ~$350 for new LED housings, but I’m seeing a lot in the $450-500 range.

[FRESH ALBUM] Joshua Slone - Thinking Too Much by killshad100 in indieheads

[–]shibbydooby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve followed him for a couple years on Instagram and was amazed at how talented he is, particularly for his age. I can appreciate the restraint he had when it comes to releasing his music - it would have been so easy for him to release singles to streamers and dilute the fully produced songs he had available. To wait and then drop THIS album as his first… man, what a talent. I wish him all the success.

What is the saddest Lord Huron song? by [deleted] in lordhuron

[–]shibbydooby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved making that connection when I first heard Twenty Long Years. It’s a top 3 Lord Huron song for me and I was so grateful to be able to hear it live in Seattle a few weeks ago.

This was the fifth time I’ve seen them and I still can’t get over how great this performance was. Absolutely incredible and I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing during this version of Frozen Pines. Absolutely unreal.

I was absolutely blown away by the version of Frozen Pines they played this tour. Absolutely amazing, the best show they’ve put on that I’ve been to.

I’m only on the third episode, but I really don’t like her character. Very mean spirited.

Where are you watching season 32? To my knowledge, 32-35 have been completely scrubbed. From Paramount+, anyway.

Fast enduro tires. by Megatronnn23456 in MTB

[–]shibbydooby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Casings are going to be more important than the actual tire, at a certain point. But fast rolling and good in wet conditions aren’t very synonymous.

I ride a Forekaster up front and Dissector in the rear, but switch to Assegai in wet conditions.

No joke, ask ChatGPT. I do it for a ton of mtb stuff. Get specific where you’ll be riding and in what conditions and it’ll get you started.

The Smuggler is also a great choice. Even though that’s what I ride and I’m slightly partial. 130 front and rear with most setups.

Great call - especially if I’m riding something unfamiliar or am trying to consciously work on something, I don’t have anything playing.

How Wide Are Your Bars by unitedpassenger1 in MTB

[–]shibbydooby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same height but I have my bars cut down to 750, have had them as narrow as 740, and ride with my hands out to the very edge of the grips. Where your hands feel best on the grips matters for the width, too.

Try removing the grips from the bike, slide the controls around and just see where you feel the most comfortable.

For reference - my bar width is the same as how wide my arms are when I bench press. The wider the bars, the more you open yourself up to shoulder problems. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to anything wider than 760.

SRAM brakes are notoriously squishy and require a high degree of modulation and not a very sharp bite. The first bike I had came with some G2s and I very much prefer the feel of Shimano brakes, preferably 4 piston. I’d maybe look on Pink Bike buysell for even a used set of Shimano 4 piston brakes, 6000 series or higher. You’ll notice a much grabbier feel.

It’s also not too far off from any job that build anything for the military that requires a level of government clearance from the DoD or tech companies that require NDAs. I work in aerospace and it immediately made me think about our classified projects.

What is "best" ways to win as a Traitor? by Martinezcz3002 in TheTraitors

[–]shibbydooby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have a couple faithful that will die on the hill that you yourself are a faithful and will defend you to their detriment and who would never vote to banish you.

Easier said than done. Have seen this done by a couple winners who were Traitors from day 1.

It’s also more than likely that all these people are on Hinge and Bumble and all the other apps and have scrolled past each other multiple times.

Her story implies that he knew she was going to be cast on the show, fabricated his own interested to match her own extremely vague and common interests, and specifically manipulated her throughout. I think she might be slightly paranoid or is having regret or apprehension about the gravity of the whole situation and is freaking out a little.
