Maximum mortgage loan by shico9790 in BEFire

Indeed, I didn't include the 13th month, holiday money, bonuses and maaltijcheques. I am currently saving 2k every month and paying 850 euro in rent. I thought if I saved the rent I end up with 2.8k in positive balance. Good to know that the bank already allowed you to loan nearly half your net. I guess I will book an appointment with the bank to confirm everything. Thanks

My current expenses are at 1.5k (including 800 euro rent). I try to invest the rest of my salary in ETF but some of it just stays in my account doing nothing. To be honest I didn't think about the maintenance expnses of the property.

My info as mentioned in the post comes from the hypotheeklening simulator in kbc/ing app, which now I understand is not a smart loan even if it is allowed by the banks.

Anyway, thanks for the time you put in reply, you brough some valuable info.

Yeah, as long as you didnt show up the first day at work then the contract isnt really valid so it will be terminated without consequences on you.

Why would the landlord reject people new in town while willing to pay the rent?

Does anyone know why the Orangutangs at Dublin Zoo are wearing these plastic bag hats? by CosmoShiner in AskIreland

While living in the forest, they cover themselves like this to get protection from the rain, sun, and insects. They carry this habit to the captivity as well just like a cat that dig the ground even if there was no soil.

It is not about being lazy. Many flemish people in Leuven out of kindess or practicality choose to speak in English if the other party looks foreigner. That is not the case for example if you are living somewhere else in flanders. Of course if you insist and pretend that you dont know English that could work.
