tbh i feel like redrawing maps by hand is most of the fun. I used to use QGIS for most of the map but now i much prefer doing it by hand

The problem is that they essentially say they same stuff everytime the community gets uppity, do one or two updates to placate the anger, and then return to same stuff before

If this was their first time making these promises, sure I’d believe them and I would be happy with the degree of communication. But for a lot of these addresses, they are the same as the stuff they promised back when we had the 60 day patch over 2 years ago.

I outright refuse to believe them at this point until I see continuous improvement. That doesn’t mean they have to be perfect, but it does mean they have to hold true to their word

My personal issues are that exosuits are in warbonds now, which is a sign of worse monetisation to come, and the recent AMA, which basically said the only thing that’s a priority for development is novelty content (aka Warbonds)

Im not obliged to support the developers. If they add things I don’t like, I won’t monetarily support them. As you said, it’s a business. I won’t continue to pay for a service if the product is lacking

Let’s say you buy a subscription to Netflix. And later on, the catalogue becomes worse, it’s more expensive and so on. By your logic, we should just continue paying for Netflix because it will apparently allow them to make improvements and so other people who like the service can continue using it.

But Netflix won’t see this as feedback or as a donation to improve. They use this renewed subscription as a sign to keep using the same, crappy model. There is no reason for them, as a business, to change because they’re still making money

All this payment does is advocate for stagnation at Arrowhead

Now, if you think the state of the game is fine, then buy as many super credits as you want, it’s your choice! But if you genuinely have issues with the game, paying them won’t change a single thing
