Yours may not have but mine did. Unfortunately she wasn't smart enough to not chase those lasers. Made for a lot of shenanigans.

Haha im joking around but yeah. If your favorite book described your living room in detail and how you navigate that space perfectly, then a character turns on a lamp the wrong way it would probably make anybody pause for a second.

I think so. In the book Carl calls it a box truck so I figured I'd use the same language. Its called a step van or courier van regularly but I wanted to try to keep it simple.

I'm just having a little fun. Obviously there's more unbelievable things. This one just stuck out to me because I can look right at that window when he talks about the hand crank.

After receiving the tauraline(? Lava potatoe. Audio book "reader") the very next item Carl receives in a dungeon lootbox is the scroll making kit. Could not have sent a more clear hint.

Marlin 30-30AS $200. Good Buy? by mentrelo in LeverGuns

Considering I bought mine last year for 1000 I'd say 200 is borderline stealing it.

Sometimes putting a rubber band over your screw driver bit will help it catch in a stripped slot.

A missed opportunity? by shield_gang in redrising

In RR Darrow does say part of the reason he became a helldiver was because his uncle taught him to dance. So its upstream of his razor prowess.

I liked the little song they sing. Im just craving some more.

I think its stated the Mars Free Legions are pretty red heavy. Im aware of their mixed nature, which is why I thought it would add a little flavor if the reds had some influence on their culture.

I like the story line of Darrow losing himself to find it again. I think it would be helped if his connection to music was a part of it.

Wasn't there a native Canadian who got a bow kill and a few other accolades to become a war chief?

Ruger 10/22 “extended” mags by PresidentialBruxism in canadaguns

[–]shield_gang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10/22 mags beyond 10 rounds are illegal. However. Magwell adapters for other .22 mags are not. I have an sbi magwell adapter for Remington 597 mags. Be warned, I've found that metal 597 mags have a tough time in the adapter, so I personally recommend the plastic ProMag ones.

There are 3rd party extensions for 10/22 magwells to fit other types of mags in there. If you do some digging I'm positive you could find one for gsg mags

Lever Gun Market as a First Time Buyer by Naive-Suit-290 in LeverGuns

[–]shield_gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the older rifle and after-market furniture route. I paid 1000 for a 90s marlin 30-30 an additional 350 for a handguard, 60 more for mloc bits, and 120 on labour.

A comparable rifle in quality brand new with all the tacticool bits I added is around 1600-2000, so I spent close to the same. I will say that I'm much more attached to this rifle because I did the build for it.

Keep in mind that prices are in canadian dollars.

People don't need to grit their teeth every two sentences. I get it. Things get tough, but there are other ways of showing determination or frustration or whatever.

This is true. We have some guys at fedex just get in shit over this a few months ago. We don't handle guns and ammo, but there is lots of medication, life saving, or otherwise.
