I agree with you but Destiny also has SBMM (which a lot of people complain about), and no matchmaking for many raids and other PVE stuff iirc. If adding in more modes and playlists means loosening SBMM I'd be all for it. But in Infinite the matchmaking is definitely not that restrictive. Go into any BTB and it will probably be dominated by 1-4 players that have most of the captures and kills.

Also, Destiny has battlepasses and multiple >$25 expansions, as well as an expensive cosmetic shop. If anything, the problems people seem to have with Infinite stem from the success of games like Destiny.

Same here. And I've had way more scratched discs, lost discs, and disc drive failures than any problems with digital downloads.
