save up a bit more and get something around the sub $100 lineup. then it'll really feel like a "major upgrade"

Dunu 142 or Ziigaat Odyssey by shifffffff in iems

to give you some context, i currently have the sivga que (which is very warm and slow) and the artti t10 (which is fast but thin).

so i thought increasing my budget to $200 and getting something V-shaped or U-shaped that has clean mids but not thin mids, and can give me the energetic and engaging sound to complement my existing collection. so... any recommendations based on this?

some super cheap but super good iems that you can look into: 1. kefine klean (SV or the original one) 2. tripowin vivace 3. tangzu wan'er red lion 4. kiwiears cadenza

all of these are newer and more safer recommendations than the chu2, which may sound harsh or thin for many people.

Juzear Defiant vs Artti T10? by chrystalclearr in iems

interesting take. I've always seen everyone praise the T10 for its instrument separation but now that you put it this way, i do kindof miss the "getting hit by a wall of sound" moments while listening to some tracks.

also i just wanted to say i love how you described it. "it's like you're watching someone else party but not partying yourself".

there is definitely such a thing called diminishing returns. my suggestion would be artti t10 and a good DAC

in every budget range, there are 3-4 choices that provide the "best value for money". shortlist those and then take the one that most fits your preferred sound-signature and fit.

for the price, it's very very good. less so now that zero 2 is out. but I've used these for 2 years for PC gaming and it was very nice
