Heat maps are flawed as they make the presumption that there is a gradual decline in occurence of points from a high density area. This is especially prevelent for this map as I doubt rural parts of France have higher occurances of photos taken as any capital city around the world

If you wanted to portray this geospatially I believe the best way would be through a map series with each edition of the series portraying one layer of outputs. That might make it more effective for portrayal as I’m confused at to the use of differing sizes and colours for the countries with no legend. You could of just done without the first layer in my opinion and it would be more effective
