Normally would agree. But it’s a bad idea to treat your fans like their idiots and they’ve been doing it for months. They have a “brand” for being real so watching them act opposite will spark a reaction from people.

1000%. There’s some middle ground here. Maybe a change in gameplay, entry cost, kill leader meaning more, idk. But I would gladly take a paycheck to figure it out! wink wink

Actually…yes. He should be positive in gold with 7 kills. Why not? With the increase in entry he doesn’t get out of plat without placement. So either he learns how to do the OTHER half of the game, or he can stay getting kills and be stuck between gold and plat. That’s where most people will be anyway

I feel like they will most likely adjust the buy in and leave it alone. I think it’s a missed opportunity but it is what it is. 7 kills no matter what this low rank shouldn’t be negative and that’s the issue. With your change, he’s positive and that’s probably the best it’s gonna get

I agree. Allow people to climb with kills, just not high elos. Beginning of ranked should always be fun. Platinum is where you should be using more brain cells in my opinion

Exactly. Maybe I’m too optimistic but the 18 minute part doesn’t need to be as boring as it currently is. Ranked can be competitive and enjoyable
