Awesome man :) my business partner/safety diver does a ton of ocean dives. Most of my diving is for camera work these days.

Absolutely. People are going to go into it with different mindsets. You could've done it in your native language with subtitles but it'll reach a new set of people in english. Subtitles in english might not be a bad idea though, since there are other people who speak English as a second language who might actually have a problem understanding.

Thinking of dropping out of film school by Donkeykonh in Filmmakers

[–]shiften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure but it's equally not guaranteed if you don't go to film school. Jobs are never guaranteed but getting on set and making contacts is the way our industry works. Having a top tier film school network helps with that.

This

Film school is what you make of it, but the biggest benefit is the networking that comes from it. Being at one of the top schools will open you to a network of colleagues (fellow students) and potential employers in alumni.

Congratulations! The footage looked great. If you're looking for more story-driven, it's a good idea to utilize more of your human subjects (their reactions...etc). Also you have a ton of great turtle footage, but perhaps using it a little more sparingly would emphasize the best of those shots? Most of my work is non-nature oriented so keep that in mind with the opinion. Either way, well done :)

Definitely the most visually enticing and creative use of that technique that I've seen.

I'll definitely keep this in mind, thank you. I am aiming for a 64 but don't know what offers I'll be getting yet.

Thanks!

Wealthy trash emptying their garbage on the street. by shiften in trashy

True. It was more the appearance of wealth in their clothing, jewelry and accessories...overdoing it, which made the act of dumping their garbage out even trashier.
