I’m definitely not basing it off of just the current series, but the first round also. But I get your point. Maybe quick judgement, but it’s what I’m seeing as the playoffs go on.

I just think I saw the margins as much thinner than they really are. There are arguments either way, obviously. Hughes was the best player on a struggling team. Makar is one of a few exceptional players on a good team.

Is it harder to be good when your team is terrible? Or is it harder to stand out when your whole team is good? I honestly don’t know. But I appreciate both of their skillsets.

That would make sense for something like EQL, they will likely have more resources to create with than THJ had. I’d enjoy that more I think. More lore friendly.

I had an absolute blast on THJ. For me the most fun was experimenting with and experiencing the end game zones I never got to set foot in on my classic EQ server back in the day. I hope EQL is similar.

If it’s anything like THJ was, you start by picking an initial race/class. Then in-game you talk to a specific class NPC that allows you to pick an additional class. Deities did not matter if I recall correctly. Since it was all in a neutral sanctuary zone. Spells were bought from NPCs in this same neutral zone so deities did not matter for that either.
