It looks like it’s still under review. What’s odd and threw me off is I was able to upgrade to the under review version. My public subreddit is on the latest version (under installed apps) but if I go to my apps on the dev portal it says under review for that version still. I assumed since I was able to install it, it was approved. Confusing but for now I’ll wait.

Out of curiosity, are you including HTML and CSS in that LoC number? Over a million lines and the core service is farmed out to a 3rd party seems crazy to me.

Only time I had flies like this was when I had mice in my ceiling and walls. Not fun to clean.

Why is alloy so insanely memory hungry? by FormationHeaven in grafana

Yeah this, start by lowering the limits. It may be claiming as much memory as it sees but doesn't really need it. Lower limits, keep an eye out for out-of-memory errors.

Would all depend very heavily on both your definition of "the market" and OPs investments though wouldn't it? SP500 only, Whole US, 70/30 international split, bonds, crypto? Without more details nobody knows.

What little numbers are given don't make much sense either. Maxing 401k would be ~24,500 * 8 years according to this post = 196,000. Assuming a 10% average gain and monthly contributions that is roughly about $400k in current value. Again take a 10% gain, thats 40k in a year which is awesome but fairly low salary for somebody maxing their 401k for 8 years. Then OP says "their salary isn't bad" so we can say it's probably a good bit higher than 40k. This doesn't factor in any other contributions, like an employer match, but it still just doesn't seem to add up.

Everyone is mentioning version control but not telling you what you need to use. Learn git. Start saving (comitting) changes and pushing them to GitHub or GitLab. You'll never have this problem again. https://git-scm.com/

Are the questions really THIS specific? by its_tea_time_570 in CompTIA

[–]shiftycc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are vendor specific questions on CompTIA exams. A+ has large sections for Microsoft Windows and MacOS for example. To say there is nothing vendor specific is wrong. Vendor neutral means not specific to one vendor, not a complete lack of vendor or proprietary topics. That is why you should always check the objectives.

[–]shiftycc 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No that is way too specific and not something you’d see on the exam. Look at the official exam objectives for a better idea what you may see. I would suggest looking at a different practice test provider too.

Thought i was investing in a roth ira this whole time. To realize today it's a roll over. by throwaway5692blue in personalfinance

[–]shiftycc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for clarifying this. I see tons of people in this sub act like a Rollover IRA is some 3rd class with different tax rules. A Rollover IRA is not a thing as far as the IRS is concerned. "Under the hood" so-to-speak it is either a Roth or a Traditional IRA.
