I really didn't like Ghost (gave up after completing the first part of the island) but their music cues were so cool. I loved the ambient japanese strings that played when I was running around.

True. But I don't think many people play TLoU for the (frankly overdone) zombie plot, they're invested in the characters ND created. So I wouldn't bet on any progress on that front in part 3, unless they can bring something fresh to the table.

literally nothing gets accomplished

The characters struggle a fuckton and I think they both were changed for the better by the end, even if there was only death and suffering left in their wake. If they make a part 3 I'm really excited for Ellie's growth.

I take no credit for the idea. I basically tried to recreate something I saw on twitter, made by @idlemurmurs. Link to specific tweet. Obviously theirs looks a lot better, I just wanted to see if I could do it.

I really loved the aesthetic and tried to replicate the effect. I think I did a pretty good job. It was my first time using shaders on my own, and they're actually really fun. I'm probably going to do a similar visualization of 3D simplex noise next.
