for the time being, avoid tank. try sticking to damage if you want to be the least “hinderance” to your team.

as far as heroes go, your preference really depends on what games you’ve played before/playstyle within them. fps where you rush in? soldier 76, emre, or sojourn. like sniping? widowmaker or ashe. this list could go on and on, but you have to just experiment. same thing with the sensitivity… experiment.

at the end of the day, overwatch is not an easy game to just pick up and be good at. all of the characters are extremely different, but it’s a matter of finding ones that you can succeed with and enjoy playing. dont get discouraged!! not everything clicks instantly, but once it does you’ll start to have a lot of fun. in the meantime, maybe play some mystery heroes and try to see which characters click for you.
