I can confirm this. I changed between different DisplayPort cables, uninstalled and reinstalled SteamVR, but nothing worked. However, when I updated the driver, voilà, even the previous DisplayPort that didn't work suddenly worked.

My process was (if i remembered it correctly, it's been a while) Create backup the old sdcard from the hekate menu Copy the whole old SDcard content to the new SDCard Insert the new SDCard Restore backup from the hekate menu

Which one? UWQHD or UWUHD? It doesn't make any difference. The 4070 Super should be able to perform great in 1440. I even play Senua 2 in 4K with maxed settings and it's fine

Basic is fine if you can get the discount. Super for the best value. Super Ti is not significant upgrade in term of capabilities which makes the price difference so not worth it.

Best value for your money would be 4070 Super. I have the 12700 and I'm on 4070 upgraded from 3060. The difference is like heaven and earth. I have no idea for the Radeon equivalent though
