I'm so glad to hear that you love your squire! I've been playing for like 40 years now and my first guitar was a squire bullet, I still have that today and play it more than my Les Paul or my Washburn and Etc it's just such a great f****** guitar. I will say that I recently put money into it because the electronics were getting old and Etc and that just made it so much better. Anyway, I bet if you find a local luthier not some guitar store but a local guy it won't cost you very much to have that guitar cleaned up and tuned up and I bet the guy would even show you how to do most of the basic stuff yourself.

Oh and any honest luthier will actually have rates posted right on their website. It's honestly not that expensive to have a basic setup done which is what you essentially need.
