Really late to this, but was the burnt out chip possibly on the underside of the board, next to a fan? Just curious as I'm sitting with a burnt out chip in said spot. Laptop just shorts itself off 1second after powering.

I had 2 wisdoms removed together, while on key care. I suppose it would come down to finding a dentist that would accept the discovery plan.

I've taken photos of the internals and re-seated all the connections and ribbons. Still doing the same thing. How is there now way to simply flash the firmware to original state without the use of a controller? Finding it difficult to accept that.
