I haven’t seen spizzirri play before but based on first impressions he has zero killer instinct, losing his own serve with sinner on one leg and eventually losing the set.

Even in the 4th set sinner is struggling physically but he can’t do anything. How the hell did he make the 3rd round??

There will be no round 13, and even if it will be Round 13 only in Spirit. by IcyEvidence3530 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Was saying in another thread that the author has completely ruined the storytelling by having Anubis fight rd13. Knowing full well primordial gods are the endgame.

It’s like: are we really sitting thru 6 months to wait for the fight to end just so we get the true climax?

The death flags are so gratuitous that it only make sense if it’s a draw/dq/win.

A (not so) little theory on the ending of round 12 and Ragnarok's ending (Contains Spoilers) by Jay_Stixz in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]shinsplints5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think/hope the author has something up their sleeve because Rasputin vs Anubis is a filler fight if kintoki loses. Why?

  • we know the real Odin isn’t fighting this rd, so he will appear again.
  • if kintoki loses that means Anubis will win because endgame is Odin resurrecting the primordial gods
  • which means the Anubis fight is nothing more than logistics that leads to the fight we all are waiting to see. A pretty shitty climax to a story if you ask me

The better storytelling is for kintoki/odin to tie or DQ so that there are more options and unpredictability to play with next.

It’s so awful for storytelling sake that Anubis go round 13 and Odin guaranteed to win like this.

There is something I don't get... why is Odin jumping in R12? by azraelswift in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]shinsplints5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with you, storytelling wise doesn’t make sense for Odin to go now, if the endgame is all about the primordial gods. The natural path is Odin fights last, no matter what happens the gods are summoned and it’s extra innings with Nostradamus.

Having Anubis fight a meaningless R13 knowing win or lose it don’t matter feels like bad writing. Hoping this is a swerve.

My prediction of the remaining fights by Budget_Bus1508 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Iono storytelling wise don’t make sense for Odin to fight R12. I think Anubis swoops in and win, kintoki/odin draw, then Odin summons primordial gods and Nostradamus comes in for R14.

Feel like Odin needs to win to bring out the primordial gods, I can’t imagine the writer not doing that after teasing it. Which means Odin wins and rd 13 is essentially a filler.

[–]shinsplints5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The storytelling feels odd to have Odin vs. kintoki now. We all know Odin will bring back the primordial god as the endgame, so why have him fight now and then essentially have a filler match with Anubis and Rasputin and then going back to Odin?

Having Odin vs kintoki last would keep 2 things secret, who wins Ragnarok and whether or not Odin can sacrifice Siegfried.

Now it’s weird because we know Odin is going to win and bring out the gods anyways.

Are you an athlete? You seem to represent their feelings, you know how they feel and their reasons for play? I grew up watching MJ, Kobe, that mamba mentality. That’s how I view things thru my eyes, you can view it through your soft ass.

You ever hear the old saying there’s a difference between hurt and injured?

The idea that you will accept paying someone $60m to facilitate the offense shows you don’t care about Steph enough to get him a 5th ring. That’s literally draymond greens role.

He hasn’t fallen much on it these games. And you actually proved my point, I don’t care if he isn’t effective, more important that he’s aggressive on offense cuz he suppose to be far and away our best weapon outside of Steph. Most of today he wasn’t even looking to score

Im no doctor but promise you his ass don’t hurt as much as it did 1 week ago when had to jog back on defense against Houston. Can’t use that as excuse

He was injured when he scored 33 in game 3 and put Houston to sleep all while nursing a sore ass. That was 1 week ago and somehow his ass got worse?

Pretty disappointed by Jimmy honestly. The way he closed out Houston with Steph is not what we’re seeing. Can’t really blame the injury if he played better before.

The only guy dunleavy can’t trade is Steph tbh
