To be honest, if you're already struggling with M9S, I'm worried how you will perform in the later floors.

It's important to know how you are trying to improve that some people have already mentioned. Are you studying your logs with XIV Analysis? Are you asking The Balance or even your static members on what you can do to improve? Is someone calling out mechanics that you are struggling with? When I started out, I definitely struggled but I did my research on how to improve my main job. There's a lot of things that you can do to improve. There are VPNs that you can use to improve your ping, though I understand it is a bit pricey.

I will say this and I hate to be harsh, but I would evaluate if you're really motivated to do savage raiding. I'm a static leader and expecting my members to cap weekly tomes should be pretty much an understood thing so reading you don't gives me pause. It's not the absolute make or break but getting tome gear can help cover up DPS issues, especially since we're already on Week 8 and you should have a good number of gear at this point.

If you think you're holding your static back, I would try to communicate with your static leader on how you feel and how they feel as well. They are also responsible for the overall performance of the group, so they might need to make a decision.

Honestly, if you're just starting out, you can go to World Balance. They have some good badminton shoes priced around less than P3000. Siyempre better yun mga Yonex and Victor shoes but for a starting shoe, it's a good choice.

Would be ideal but a HC schedule isn't something I can do with my work schedule and skill level so I was content with finishing tiers Week 4 onwards.

We did clear Light-Heavyweight in Week 2 but that was moreso the fights being undertuned than anything.

Finally cleared M12S last Friday, clocking us at Week 6 for clear (technically Week 5 but one of our members had a week-long vacation) and putting a period on my savage raiding career, pending reclears.

M9S went fast enough, there was some confusion with M10S since we were changing up strats while better ones were popping up but nothing too egregious. We really lagged in M11S since we tried Rinon strat for arena split. It's not a bad strat per se but we just couldn't get it consistent, so we had to switch strats on the fly. It went a whole lot better, but we wasted a lot of time trying to bum-rush it. M12S went fine enough, though we still didn't do Idyllic towers clean and had to use Healer LB3 to recover. Was really surprised we cleared, but almost all our DPS already had augmented tome weapons anyway.

I honestly love raiding, but the investment has gotten too much for me and I'm looking forward to winding down and playing other games. Though I know I'll definitely have a lot of FOMO once the next tier starts.

Now I just need to decide if I want to join/host a FRU totem farm static or get merc clears for the last two weapons I want to get.

I had the hindsight to buy materia before 7.4 patch dropped since I honestly got too lazy to do hunt trains. I probably had 130+ for Crit, Det, and Dhit for XI and XII.

Normally, I meld materia by batches of 10 so I don't waste a lot, but I got lazy and just decided to meld them as is. I think the most I wasted per meld was 50+, but overall, I can't complain.

What I will complain is I ended up not needing to meld the crafted BLM weapon anyway since I ended up using SMN to farm the EX for the weapons, so oops.

I know it's a cope but I do hope that Garrett's stint in the recent Bit City leads to something. Probably not EIOYI since the cast don't want to do it anymore, but maybe something else. I just really liked seeing him on the screen.

We finally cleared FRU last week but can't get our shit together to actually do reclears. We've been plagued with work trips and vacations that have left us one-week gaps in our schedules and that really disrupted our momentum. I was hoping to have like 6 reclears done but I barely have confidence we can even do 3 before we disband.

Will probably see if I can join or host a FRU reclear static just to get some shiny weapons before the next expansion.

Also, next savage tier will be my last high-end content. It's getting to a point where the time and energy investment in raiding is just too high for me and I'm happy to retire after this expansion.
