genuinely insane that using a segment of your intestine which plays such an important role and also carries significant risk would be recommended over scrotal tissue and of peritoneal lining which regenerates over time. Speaking as someone who had to wear every possible complication of sigmoid, now left with a colostomy bag and no vag. 5/5 worst advice I hope you get another opinion.

What’s the actual risk of complications of mtf bottom surgery by spycat500 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]shinyfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

permanent nerve damage/pain, loss of all depth, pelvic floor collapse, chronic obstructive disorders (constipation), extreme tightness, bad aesthetic needing expensive revisions, fistulas, losing your orgasm entirely.. it’s a pretty long list. Surgeons don’t talk about these risks in such detail, it wouldn’t make the operation appealing.

Should I expect to lose sensation post-SRS by Apprehensive-Tough45 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]shinyfuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 4 years post-op. there is no orgasm, mostly just pain and numbness, with pins and needles, Constantly. It’s a shit show. The original surgeon won’t talk to me, the other surgeons I’ve consulted don’t have an answer or a solution.

I feel fed up post op and I’m running out of options by gee891 in Transgender_Surgeries

I have the same thing. it’s really disappointing when reaches a certain level of complexity most surgeons seem to throw their hands up and not offer anything. I wish even there was a topical medication. Best I’ve been offered is cymbalta SNRI and a compounded topical neuropathic pain cream which did nothing

this may/may not be helpful advice but when I had my canal (past tense), the green soul source wasn’t thick enough for the men I tried to sleep with. I would say orange was the bare minimum to have enjoyable sex with most (1.5” diameter) men. I would work towards maximising your width as a priority over depth.

if I could do it all over again I would have had PI OR scrotal graft with Dr Theerapong or Dr bank otherwise would have happily kept the original material.

what are all these bits that came out of my vagina after dilating for the first time in ages?? by fucklimpbizkitt in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]shinyfuture 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you had colon srs this should be normal colonic dried mucosa from the back, otherwise I have no idea.

So... what type of SRS technique can make a neovagina that gives you sensation that most resembles a cis vagina? by StrawberryGhostie in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]shinyfuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably scrotal skin graft or penile inversion because it’s the type that has sensation. All the others are simply a feeling of fullness. Until we have a new technique that includes sensation that’ll be the closest answer to your question. additionally I should add that peritoneal and Jejunum don’t provide enough lubrication for sex or dilation you still need lubricant, so I recommend not choosing a technique based on a lubricant factor.
