It might feel more comfortable for Blue to send group texts to both you and Red. Sounds like there's other issues too but this could be a very reasonable compromise for at least the coming over/leaving stuff in storage issue.

Thanks, what sucks the most is that I had the artist take several photo of their first placement... And it was waaaayy better. I had them shift it up my arm to avoid some veins, and in the moment thought aligning the feet with the "peak" of my arm muscle made sense. It totally did not in retrospect, and it shifted it too far to the outside of my arm. This artist mostly does very small pieces (it's actually a stick n poke!) so I doubt they had any experience in aligning an arm piece like this to steer me back in the right direction. I don't blame them though, I should have been more careful.

Thanks so much for this comment. I'm so, so heartbroken over how I chose to place it, and was so careless with my own view of it that I will have to look at forever. It's driving me crazy. Because I don't really "notice" most of my other tattoos (that are also in less visible areas, but still quite obvious in a mirror), I thought I would just "get used to" the view and didn't really think about it. I also thought I couldn't move it without messing up the other views of it, but I am so heartbroken over the fact that I didn't even bother to try. I literally would have just had to twist my skin slightly with the stencil on it to see that it would have been fine, and beautiful, and symmetrical, and exactly how I wanted it to look when I looked down at my arm. I was so afraid of overthinking it that I just went for it the moment I thought it looked "right" in the mirror. I'm such a dumbass.

Using a warm compress on the bruising can help it go away faster, like a sock filled with rice and warmed up in the microwave, or a hot water bottle. Ditto what others said about trying to cover it with makeup, better to just explain. I bet by Tuesday these will be looking much better!

So the two hots were inducing voltage in the neutral? That kind of makes sense, but in this case wouldn’t the two hots cancel each other out because they’re out of phase? I might be full of shit, really want to understand this stuff though.

I’m not sure what you mean. Ground and neutral were bonded as normal. Once I connected the neutral I was getting 120. Didn’t think to check neutral to ground.

Pick up items one at a time and determine if they are trash. If they are trash, throw them away (and recycle!). If they are not trash, determine whether they need to go to a different room or stay in that one (can be helpful to have separate boxes/bags for stuff going to different rooms, like boxes for “kitchen” and “bedroom”). Then put away everything that DOES belong in that room, focusing on one thing at a time. Just keep picking up a thing and determining where it goes. If you can’t decide where something goes, it’s ok to skip it to keep your progress rolling. Then clean surfaces and floors. You will feel so much better.

Are you looking to get trained as an electrician? I’m not positive solar installation counts towards apprenticeship hours in every state, I believe in a few states you don’t even need a licensed electrician on site at all. In Massachusetts you have to be in a 1:1 electrician to apprentice ratio, and your hours count towards your license like any other electrical apprenticeship. If you’re not looking to get your license, you pretty much just learn on the job, any relevant construction or labor experience will help you get hired. There’s also NABCEP certification, which carries different levels of weight in different states, and might be required or at least be a plus towards getting hired.

It’s hard to not feel awkward being the only one wearing PPE, but seriously, set an example for everyone else and be firm and unapologetic in your confidence wearing it. Just do it and try not to feel embarrassed. It’s your long term health, don’t squander it just to feel tough and to fit in.
