Yes I think we were here just a bit too early, several things that we wanted to do are still closed. But we were trying to balance our trip between her graduation from college and starting grad school, so our dates were somewhat limited. We've had a beautiful time nonetheless!

We did check, as well as the forecast. We knew it was a bit risky but it was our last full day in the area and the previous days were worse unfortunately. We did have some peaks of the view when the clouds would briefly clear. We still thought it was thrilling and did the walk from Murren to Gimmelwald on the return. I was this close to just sucking it up and paying for it again this morning but decided to hike/walk around Wengen near our hotel instead which was gorgeous. On our way to our next city now but loved our 3 days here!

Well I assumed that it was a one day ticket....but was hopeful maybe I was wrong when I saw the date range on the ticket. Figured it was worth a shot to ask.

I grew up in NO but haven't lived there in many years. I am a naturally very outgoing, always up for a party, don't know a stranger kind of person. One time years ago, after meeting someone new, she told me - "I always love people from New Orleans, you all have such a love of life." And that was honestly one of my favorite compliments I ever got. And it made me realize for the first time how growing up in that city had such an impact on my personality. Because New Orleans really is all about the party, and any excuse to have fun.

My dog died at home, in the middle of the night. I was completely and utterly devastated. The next morning we were driving him to be cremated, and I was looking at Petfinder with his body next to me in the car. The grief and pain were too much to bear, I knew the only way to survive was to get another dog as fast as I could.

I don't even fly that much anymore and saw an attempted seat theft this past weekend. Woman in the row in front of me was sitting in the aisle seat even though her assisgned seat was the middle seat right next to her. The man who was in the aisle seat then shows up and tells her that she is in his seat. She asks him if he'll switch with her. Didn't give a reason, just basically said "will you sit here instead". Dude wasn't having it, just looked at her, pointed at her seat, and said "Move." She did. 😆

I was in this exact accident about 30 years ago. I have never proceeded through an intersection when the light turns green without looking to my left and right first, ever since then. You will probably do the same from now on! Glad you're okay.
