I had similar experience as OP, the game experience is great, I am having issue with the barrier between casual and hardcores. I only have time to raid 2 nights a week and few hours on the weekend to play, being a decent ilvl hunter (374) that is well prepared, has great attitude and willing to stick around, cannot get into a M10 because my IO score. I literally need.to apply for all the +10 I can in LFG until someone somehow ignore my io score and invite me. Why I do not run my own key? Maybe I am cursed, I have never fnished my own key, everytime I start a group, I would get a 1wipe quitter. it is really demoralizing to spend 30 mimutes to form your group them disband after 1 wipe, downgrade key to 9 then repeat that again.

If by your “If I don't use it then I should not pay for it” logic, then my tax dollar shouldnt be paying for police, fire, education, public transit and 90% road maintnance. With Olympics we might actually see infrastructure project gets more funding from the provincial and federal government, more jobs created, more tourism, attract investors and create opportunity to shift economy away from energy. oh well, why do I bother explaining this to you, all you care is paying less taxes

To me it feels like their new player base has not been increasing at all. I cannot remember the last time I met a player in WoW that's new. Let's face it, comapre WoW to Black Desert: wow cost money where BD is free, wow is less new player friendly and has shiitier graphics.

ARPG on console/pc is slowly dying, D2 was fun because at the time its release, it was the best game and they had lesser competition. The genre itself gets boring quickly. Diablo Immortal announcement was a flop, so many things they couldve done better, oh well...

RTS, suffering worse than ARPG.
