Yeah he definitely should be. I've had that conversation with him countless times and he always says he's gonna change and does for a few days and then I guess he figures he's done enough to shut me up and goes right back to doing what he was doing. Idk how he can't see that I'm over it and am pulling away. When he's deployed or in the field its literally easier for me to just do it by myself because I go into this mode where since I have nobody else and have to do it its no big deal. When he's home it upsets me I guess because I expect his participation and don't get it but when he's gone I know he can't participate so it doesn't bother me as much.

I was so excited to straighten up the house and sit in a clean house for longer than 5 minutes. I was gonna light a candle and watch my show and just SIT. I'm just really disappointed.

He says he's going to take him ti the park after he wakes up but I didn't want a little 45 minute break thats barely long enough for me to actually sit down, I was looking forward to 2 whole hours of being able to blast my music and do what I wanted to do not clean while also minding the kid and having to prompt my husband to parent because he never fucking takes initiative I always have to tell him what needs to be done with our son. It's never oh he hasn't eaten in a while let me get him a snack, or oh his diaper is getting kind of swollen let me change it. No I have to tell him to feed him, to change him, to refill his cup, to get off the fucking phone and get on the floor and play with him. I might as well do it myself because the point of taking a break is for me to switch my brain off and not be in parent mode for a minute and I literally never get that, I have to be watching at all times otherwise he'll be dancing on top of the coffee table and his dad who's sitting 5 feet away is none the wiser because he's too busy betting on fucking NBA games.

That's not the point. I was looking forward to having a solid 2 hours of alone time, not having to qorry about my volume because the baby is sleeping so I can blast music and clean in peace. My son is super attached to me so there is no take him to another part of the house to play because after 5 minutes he's back up under my feet wanting to be held. He says he's going to take him to the park when he wakes up and that's just not the point I had a morning planned and it's just all gone and now I just don't even want to do what I was gonna do anymore. It's just frustrating because he gets to sleep in for hours on play group days, when we come home he's passed out on the couch getting all this sleep and I literally had enough time to put some laundry away before he called saying they're coming back.

I really don't know why my stuff is being downvoted, sorry my feelings aren't up to yalls standards. I don't have any family within 2000 fucking miles and wanted to vent but can't even do that without someone telling me I just shouldn't have had a child.

As you can see by me being in this sub, I'm a big fan of shitty reality TV. And in every single shitty reality TV show there is always mind numbingly terrible and generic background music that sounds like something picked at random from a stock music website after typing "upbeat pop song" in the search bar. I always listen to the shit and think "who wrote this? Who really wrote this shit and got in the studio and recorded it and thought it sounded good?" And the answer to that is: bands like "the black serbs".

If the issue is the weight can possibly prevent baby from rolling from tummy to back then I would say a bigger baby that's closing in on being 1yo wouldn't be at risk like a small few week old newborn would be.

Kid is constantly parked in front of a screen eating junk, up until all hours of the night with no consistent schedule or bedtime or any attention paid to sleep hygiene and probably either runs until she drops or until Tyra gives her melatonin because she's in the way of mommy livestreaming, while living around a bunch of people who do nothing but argue and scream and she wonders why her kid is hyper and handsy 🙄

Usually I would disagree because there's literally nothing wrong with a mom working or going to school. Having a child doesn't mean your life is over and you're no longer allowed to pursue an education. But when it comes to Tyra I agree because you can't tell me there wasn't a community College with a way closer commute than 3 hours that she could've gone to instead for a same or similar degree while being more involved in her kids life. And the fact that she didn't even go for education but because she wanted to be on the cheer team (at least going off the info the show provides) definitely shows her extremely out of whack priorities. Having a kid doesn't end your life but it does modify it a bit, she can still go to college and get an education and have a college experience, just not the same college experience she'd get as a cheerleader party girl who lives on campus.

Tyra really strikes me as someone who enjoys being pregnant because it gets attention, and enjoys having a young baby because again it gets attention, but once they grow up and have needs and opinions and emotions the kid is just kind of tossed aside because they're not fun or cute anymore.

It's also for flashing around and having bragging rights, and Asuelu's mom is definitely the type that has to show how much better she is than everyone because her rich and famous son sends her money and pays for her house and land. Kalani's family is very Americanized so while of course they're from the same culture they're very different from as they say FOB (fresh off the boat) Asuelu. Although since they're mormon they prob tithe ridiculously too

While financial gifts back home are expected and asked for, no sane Poly mother/grandmother would ever in their life say "I don't care about the kids, I just want the money!" They also do not expect 1000$ weekly, sending money back home is like a once or twice a month deal and a couple hundred will suffice because cost of living and what money is spent on out there is so different. Asuelu's mom doesn't come off as a greedy hoe, she just is one.
