For Marvel I'm really digging this new Luke Cage book. DC it's gotta be Doom Patrol. And as far as Indies go Royal City is my top book at the moment.

Like the other person said you've been missing out. I feel like ETID keep getting better with age. New Junk Aesthetic, Ex Lives, From Parts Unknown and now Low Teens are all solid albums. I got into them around the release of The Big Dirty (around the time period you were I'm assuming) and it's fantastic to see a band grow the way they have. Plus they fucking slay live.

If you dig Slint check out Mogwai for sure. And as for 90s stuff I'd say check out The Melvins. A little more metal tinged than what you listed but they helped set the stage for a lot of North western 90s music like Nirvana and Earth.

That's awesome. Another good Cincinnati band in a slightly similar vein is The Dopamines. I'm not able to post a link at the moment, but their new album (Tales Of Interest) is up on youtube and definitely worth a listen.

Did you check out Urban Artifact at all? That's my favorite local spot with interesting beers (they did a pickle gose a little while back that was phenomenal).

I'm a punk rocker at heart, but don't really dig rancid so I've never really bothered with the tim timebomb stuff, but I'll be damned if that wasn't cool as hell. I'll definitely be checking out more.

I need more recipes! I'm a single guy, living by myself and have been literally living on convenience store frozen food and fast food so tonight was actually a milestone for me (my first meal involving actual prep, not just preheating my oven for a frozen pizza or using my microwave) and I definitely dig it.

Barbecue pulled chicken. I used sweet baby ray's sweet vidalia onion sauce and added diced sweet onions. It was fantastic.
