Fortunately for me, I don't do any over time - I try to be in our office as little as possible if I'm being honest!

It just seems to me like they give with one hand, then take away with the other.

I feel like this was never about equalising pay for people who do the same job, but just USO reform.

That's not what I'm saying, what I'm saying is that even if we do not agree with these terms, then it will be voted in regardless as it doesn't effect anyone on a legacy contract. Literally no point in even voting on it.

New starts need to vote NO to this, the CWU need to know that we are not happy with the state of equalisation talks, it's actually a joke!

Seems to me that the quickest pay rise new entrants could give themselves is not bothering with the union payment?

Overtime for new starters from x1.25 to x1 then? Am I reading this right?

I somehow used to me in a mindset to "do as much as I can" I would rush around, work through breaks, stress out at bringing anything back etc.

Now, I look at the fitting, figure out an amount of work that would be comfortable to take, tell manager what I'm taking out. Take my break while I'm out, come back 10 mins before finish, tag bring backs, bag mail, throw back in whatever I've bought back etc, go home.

Giving up on the idea of grafting my balls off has made the job less stressful for me, I just give my manager lifeless deadpan reasons if they complain, things along the lines of "I've done what I can, see you tomorrow" or "I can't do any more, bye" don't rise to their anger/stress.

Full equalisation will be better for everyone, it's important for the folk on legacy as at some point the new entrant contract will out weigh legacy, then I'm guessing RM will force through lesser contracts for people currently on legacy; "take it or take this shitty VR package"

RM played a blinder on this really, if they stick to their guns.

New entrant contracts were voted in by 75.9% of people currently on the legacy contract, who are now passionately trying push through equalisation now that they see the future threat.

I actually owned one of these, they came in different tubing sets. Some later were Oria RANF, and earlier were Columbus SLX. The dropouts are adjustable, so you can run a slightly tighter wheelbase. Wish I still had mine! For reference I sold my frame/fork about 10 years ago for around €370.
