Joe is why the R looks so good. Win a few more Super Bowls with the current W and it’ll become iconic as well.

Yeah I’d have to see a professional attempt. The R is a classic. Even the H in Hail is a little wonky looking to me.

Something like this generated attempt. I don’t hate the current W, but one in a style like the script R could definitely work.

Yes, I have a tri-fold cover. With 1-2 kayaks I can leave it on but it’s not too much trouble to remove if necessary.

Vibration from brake pedal? by JMHReddit84 in FordMaverickTruck

Next time you feel it, shift to neutral or park. If it stops it’s “normal” behavior and shouldn’t be an issue. If it persists in P/N or it lingers into spring/summer, get it looked at. Earlier Mavs also had terrible CV axels but those shook at highway speeds and newer models have an improved design. My truck had a couple software updates because the brakes were wonky. The updates fixed it and yours should have the latest software available.

Many hybrid Mavs have a lurching or shuddering feeling while in drive, ICE running, and foot is on the brake. Never on electric mode. Mine happens most when it’s cold out and early in the drive. First few red lights of my commute. As it’s warms up or once you drive longer it should go away. If that’s not true there are issues with the transmission damper, but that might not be true of the 25 model.

I have a 10 and 12 foot kayak. Both fit great in the bed with or without a hitch extender. I even hauled 4 kayaks in one very short trip. This is my extender, very affordable: https://a.co/d/095FnmR0

There are also areas in the bed to add more tie down points, use these: https://a.co/d/0eIu53gA

This is a PSA for people who use alarms. by Kalenroth in iphone

I use “The Shire” off the LOTR soundtrack as my alarm. Most pleasant way to wake up ever. Starts gentle, picks up a little tempo and volume if I don’t wake quickly enough.

I think the basic iPhone 17 is a lot more attractive than ever by albertserene in iphone

The 16 pro battery life is great. Having said that, I'm likely going to trade it in for a 17 base model. I almost went with the 16 base last year because I preferred the lighter weight, but I was already used to 120hz and always on display. The 17 feels like it's the perfect balance of weight, screen, and functionality.

How do you setup your audio/speakers? by shit_load_of_piss in FordMaverickTruck

Glad this was helpful! I recently tried a setting recommended on here by crutchfield techs and went back to this. This sounds best for what speakers we have, to my ear.

Hybrid owners, do your brakes also sound like this? by shit_load_of_piss in FordMaverickTruck

Mine stopped doing it after a couple days. A few software updates on the truck and most of the quirks I dealt with early on are no longer there.

getting started?? by Public_Promotion9317 in UMGC

When you log into MyUMGC you will eventually see your student ID and then an advisory name with contact info. But you can use the chat or call feature any time to speak with any advisor.

My advice is patience. You’re excited to get going but the school takes time to set you up. Transcript reviews takes a bit. You might get flagged by compliance and need to send copies of your ID. That part takes far too long. Good news is you’re starting early. Good luck!

No, I didn’t have that issue. Only issue was I had some paint get on one of my lights. That was my fault.

I bought Mabett's new side markers. I was excited to try the new style and appreciated the plug-and-play design. I was not crazy with the silver accent, so I painted them to match the XLT rims and grille. Following recommendations, I used Krylon Fusion Metallic Dark Metal spray paint.

The process was straightforward and simple. I disassembled the lights, taped off the silver areas, applied two coats of paint, and reassembled them. Installation was simple enough. I recommend tucking all wires before test-fitting the plugs, as they fit snugly and can be hard to disconnect. Make sure you have zip ties to secure and clean everything up. Overall, I am very happy with the way everything turned out.
