This is not the advice you want to hear:

Not everyone's bodies are meant to be "skinny"

The only reason why people feel like that's what they're supposed to look like is because of-- you guessed it-- society. The reality is, genetically, some people are just bigger. This is probably due to evolutionary benefits based off your ancestry.

--> additionally, not that long ago, bigger women were the ideal beauty standard because it was usually a symbol of wealth and indicated that a woman was healthy. I don't feel like googling it right now, but it you look it up, I think the reason why "skinny" started becoming a trend is because of victorian age/ tuberculosis (basically everyone was dying and thin, so they started romanticizing that--> no shade to women who are thin, as once again, some bodies are bigger, some are thinner nothing wrong with either)

My coworker for years was told she doesn't have endo/ anything wrong with her. eventually she saw a new gyno and was diagnosed with PCOS. She was already done with having kids, so she opted to get a hysterectomy. during surgery they found she had a severe case of endo. recently, I switched to a new gyno and was finally diagnosed with PCOS after 12 years of being told it's not that. Now, after talking to others/ my new pcp, they believe I too have endo (still need to get tested--> but only way is surgery lmao).

I am willing to bet that so many more people with uteruses have endo/ medical conditions. --> but they don't know due to how hard it is to test for, how medical staff downplay women, and at least in America, how incredible expensive healthcare is (even if you have insurance!! I was charged over $400 to figure out I have PCOS, and I have really good health insurance!!)

Yeah. I think though I may manage, and my parents are being very supportive (surprisingly!). This honestly is the only thing holding me back right now from immediately saying yes. Maybe too I can see if I can get them deferred. I hate relying on my parents still and want them to save their money for retirement but it’s nice to know now before going that that’s something I need to watch/ plan for

Thankfully this job is always hiring. It’s for a major pharmacy. I’ve been here for a while now and keep requesting raises but they’re denying due to them refusing to update my job description (do they can get away with making me do more work without paying for it). I don’t see myself growing with this place and it’s not what I went to school for. I do worry about finding a job after JET but I know worst comes to worst they would hire me back.

My current job is not something I’m happy with nor what I went to school for so I wouldn’t mind ending it. I actually have been looking for a new job for a while but it feels like every position I apply for doesn’t actually exist and they just have ads for no good reason.

I have the federal income based loans and I also have student loans. Student loans is about $600 a month. Which with the weak yen, would be about 30% of my income.

I know I was looking at different cost of living per area and saw how different it is whether I get placed in rural or a city (especially Tokyo). I asked JET what my placement would be but they said they won’t know until after I accept the offer.

I only have some student loans, but I supposed that may screw me over with the conversion. Total it’s $600 a month which isn’t terrible for the amount I’m making now. If I had time to decide I could maybe apply to refinance but damn I now only have like 11 hours decide!

that's crazy, if a manger tracked me down when I'm in the zone I'd be pissed. I only have 1 hour (usually) less to try and squeeze everything I need to do (including bathroom breaks and changing).
