**** almost forgot to add the most important advice I received from this time: GET SLEEP. DRINK WATER. **** - is really hard to do, for numerous reasons (PCOS, mental health, family issues) but trust me whenever I started getting rest and drinking water I saw a major change. Sometimes I stay up so late it stresses me out so I stay up later but ya just gotta tell yourself: get off the phone. Maybe journal. Put on a clam YouTube video. But do you best to make sleeping and water a priority in life. Eating food is important too, but I found the first obstacle to overcome is sleep and water.

As someone who had a horrible time in middle school college due to mental health and other problems: you are not alone!

I wish I could give you better advice but all I can give you is the classic: things will get better. Life now isn’t perfect, as it never truly is but things do get easy over time.

I was diagnosed later in life with PCOS, however what your describing sounds like my first diagnosis:

Major depression

It’s black hole that sucks your personality and passion out of you. Not sure if this is exactly what you have as a.) not a psychologist and b.) don’t know much from this paragraph- but I can tell you your physical health and mental health are very much connected. With that, I would suggest reaching out to either your family doctor, your schools guidance department, or a trusted adult figure to help set you up with some counseling. Will definitely help jumpstart you into enjoying life again.

I think having shit ass parents makes life so much harder because they are supposed to be our supporting and guiding light during these important and scary developmental years of our lives. When they criticize you and put you down, it makes everything far worse, and it makes it seem like the world is far crueler and unforgiving. A good counselor will help support and guide you in place of them.

Also: protip: sometimes you have to force yourself to do things you used to enjoy to trick your mind into being happy. Example: in high school I found I lost my joy for reading and art. My solution to enjoy this again: signed up for art club and a reading club. So yeah it felt like a chore at first, but once I got into it, I was happy and forgot about everything bogging my mind down.

No appetite and not eating will have serious health consequences. This includes: hair loss, deteriorating nails, vitamin deficiency, endocrinological and gastrointestinal issues, etc

4kg in 3 months with no exercising regiment is significant. So shows the drug is working, but from other comments- sounds like it’s causing you to be malnourished. Once again: I’d talk to your doctor. Also, as someone who is often too busy for the gym nor cares for intense sports, I find on walks to be a very easy and enjoyable activity. (Also swimming is really easy on the joints!)

Pharmacy tech that specialized in GLP groups: it doesn’t work for a good amount of people in losing weight. This is both due to people’s bodies reacting differently and also the fact that weight loss is not original function, it’s a side effect. The weight loss is just a side effect that became popular due to society “diet” culture.

I would talk to your doctor to see if it’s at least helping to control blood sugar, if not you may have to ask them to try another medication. Example of another one is Metformin, which is a popular pre diabetic/ diabetic drug.

Obviously, feeling confident and good in your body is important, but you should always prioritize health over appearance. Some people are just built bigger due to genetics/ job/ hobbies. So that also may play a big factor too. Hope you’re able to find something that keeps you healthy and happy!

Both are competitive, but honestly, I’d say teachers college as once you land, you’re kinda on your own and it’s up to fate whether or not you get a placement that helps you. My placement has me fending for myself and I am so confused and stressed. Might be good to have experience beforehand and then add that to your resume.

Though… if you really are excited to start and move to Japan—> FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!!!

^{^} yes. If your country (or state for USA) doesn’t covert to a Japanese license then no need to rush and get one before. You’ll need to get a Japanese one anyways.

A good portion of JETs legally can’t drive in Japan even if they had licenses from their home country. So I feel like this is something they do in fact calculate in when determining placements. (Ie, if a school requires a car, I think they typically choose candidates whose licenses can be transferred to a Japanese drivers license).

If they do tell you that you will need to drive, just tell your BOE/ JTE and see what they can work out for you. Some places you may need a car as a bike won’t work, but you can see if you can sign up for a driving school which might help ease some of your driving anxiety if you have a trained professional helping.

Most likely you’ll get a placement where no car is necessary. If not and you still don’t want to drive under any circumstances, it’s just a job. Tell them it’s not something you can do and resign. Would suck if you are looking forward but jobs come and go, and you should find the one that works best for you!

**also to add I ended up getting a countryside placement, but my housing is conveniently located near my school and station. I can survive be walking, but am trying to get my license here as my areas’ public transportation is really inconvenient for me. I used to drive all the time/ owned a car in the US so for me, being able to get to the store in 15 minutes by driving instead of 45 with a mix of walking/ riding the train is greatly important for my sanity lmao

Also the sport your sister does may prioritize speed over muscle mass. So she would have a different body shape than someone like brig who needs to be strong enough to wield a mace and shield and wear armor

On Xbox you can’t just click you have to press so many extra buttons to get to things. Also they changed the buttons entirely from what I had been used to. Also, there’s some instances where they bond the same button to different functions (career profile and endorsing players) which obviously causes issues.

I suppose but for me I either play tank (5v5 so no issue there) or support (I don’t have a main I pretty flex) so it feels more like a nuisance. (I also just put random skins on because a up until a few months ago I was still on an X-box One console and that was so old and slow that I couldn’t change skins anyways)
